Bell Vue
This is the cover of a Mancunian 'zine' full of anecdotes that can be found in the City, the cover is wonderfully produced by Neil Dimelow, whose work I have seen around and about here and there. I really like the uncomplicated line drawn representation of the City-scape, well worth two quid.
Try and get a hold of one, they're a great read.
Rough trade
What a weekend!
My lady and I had plenty on our plates Friday and Saturday but in more ways than one on Sunday. Trove is our small food business and on Friday it hit Manchester Piccadilly Gardens for the first time.

We had a laugh with the other traders, met all types of folk and listened to Piccadilly Pop (ear plugs are a must) and learnt a great deal about doing business.
On Sunday we relaxed and ate to our stomachs desire with plenty of brown sauce to taste. Mm m mmm.

A rainy City
This week has been a busy one, my lady and I did our first market stall selling our wares to masses. The weather wasn't as favourable as we had hoped but we did ok and learned a lot!
There is a poem on the end of a row of houses on Oxford road here in Manchester, that looks at the weather we have in a positive way...the verse runs vertically.

Plenty of time
Uniform wares have a range of wrist watches, the 200 series that are right up my street. I like the inspiration behind this collection of watches which is based upon industry and engineering, its easy to see, look at that watch face!
A watch shouldn't be a fancy thing or take over half of your forearm, and here are a range that has a design that is understated in a way that enables both the girls and the boys to wear these utilitarian time pieces.

Handsome Bicycles
For Christmas my lovely lady bought me Bone-shaker magazine, which is bursting at the seems with interesting stories and handsome bicycles.
The cover was worth the purchase alone!
