Boat badge

Over the weekend whilst dressing our Christmas tree (as well as, sipping mulled wine and eating tipsy mince pies) I used a collection of Origami sail boats as inspiration for a Christmas gift!

Here I've created a badge to brighten up the dullest lapel.

Fable inspiration

Here are some pictures of an artists work, and he truly inspires me! Not only in his story telling ability, but in his imagery too.

Im hoping to create my own story as a christmas gift for a 'special' someone, I hope they like it!

Free my Bicycle

I have recently part refurbished an oldish Raliegh Chiltern (New cranks/chainset/pedals/chain oil) and the ride was much, much better. I'm feeling another project coming on and a few days ago I stumbled upon Carry Freedom.
I want to be able to ferry a load across the city with ease while still maintaining my diginty. Or even as this fellow has done at Burning Man have a place to sleep (Genius!).

A suitable nest as any

The great thing is that carry freedom makes plans to produce your own bamboo trailer open source, something which I admire greatly.

New Beginings...

The hours of sunlight during our days are now getting shorter, the signs are hidden in the highest leaves of the tallest trees as they slowly change from green to an array of colours, some yellow ochre others auburn or crimson.

These are the first signs of autumn and soon to follow will be the cold weather and the start of things a new, but with this change brings a change of clothing so get out your woollies!

More pressing matters are afoot; like how to juggle riding a bicycle while remaining warm, dry and reasonably clean?

My lovely lady and I will be trying our best.
