Nigel Peake

Sitting on the train reading STRØM: drawings and paintings, by Nigel Peake .

Thanks to Matt and Fred.

A trusty chariot

This is a photo I took in a town called Pushkar in Rajastan, India. I thought it was a very handsome bicycle, taking a well earned rest in the afternoon sun.

This summer should bring bicycle adventures for my lady and I, where we dont know yet.

Bring on the sun.

Olive & Brown in Lancashire Life

My lady is in Lancashire Life, Cheshire Life and a few other local newspapers!
The Olive&Brown article tells of the difficulties of getting thread through wallpaper, (which is no easy task on a stubborn sewing machine) and of how Olive met Brown and from this beautiful things happen.

Me? I am Proud as Punch!

My lady and I took a walk over to Kim By The Sea last week and happened upon an impromptu exhibition of free art.

Roues très belle...

My lady and I have been looking for a set of wheels to use for our business and we have seen this little beauty.

A trip to France may be needed but it would be worth it.

Bespoked Bicycle Show

Great line drawn illustration aside, Bespoke looks and sounds like it will be a really good bicycle show. Its good to see so many people creating bicycles to such a high aesthetic standard. Some of the press pictures on the Bespoke site show great craftsmanship that you just have to admire in both diligence and creativity.

The event takes place from the 10th-12th June 2011 at the Paintworks, Bristol. Perhaps my lady and I could sashay down to Bristol for the day...If not bring Bespoked to Manchester for 2012.
